Core Values

God the Holy Spirit

We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, The Triune God.

God the Father is the first person of the Godhead. God the Father reigns above everything and all things created in heaven and earth (Psalm 24, Genesis 1:1; Dt. 6:4; Col. 1:15)

God the Son. Jesus Christ is the second person of the Godhead. He is the incarnate God, Immanuel, God with us. Conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary. Jesus was fully God and fully Man and was without sin. Jesus came to save us by giving His life in ramson for whoever accept Him. He rose from the dead on the third day and is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for us. On His death Jesus atoned for the sins of man once and for all, and is the one Mediator between God and man by which man be reconciled to God (Matt 1:18-25; John 1:1-18, 29; Philippians 2:5-11; Rev 1:13-16, 19:16)

God the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and is the fully divine Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit calls men to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enable men to understand the truth of the Scriptures.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgement (John 16:8-11).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit transform His people to share His moral character and to fulfill His purpose (Leviticus 21:8; Exodus 19:6; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 4:7).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit empowers the church to share the Good News of salvation (Acts 1:8).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit as a distinct Devine person (Isa. 48:16; 1 Cor. 12:4-6; Matt. 28:19; John 14-16).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in a believer and give us the new identity in Christ’s image (Romans 8:29; Galatians 5:22).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit empowers God’s people for various tasks throughout different ministries. i.e., artistic skills (Ex 28:3; 31:3); leadership (Num 27:18; 1 Sam11:6-7); prophesy (Num 11:17, 25-29); service (Acts 1:8; 1 Thessalonians 1:5; Acts 8:29; 1019); share God’s mission (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 8:14-17; 10:44-47).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit empowers our ministry to serve one another with distinct empowerments such as the fruit of the Spirit, gifts, healing etc. (1 Cor 12; 14).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit sets apart His people as gifts to Christ’s body apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastor-teachers to equip the rest of Christ’s body for their service for Christ (Eph 4:11-12).
  • We believe the Holy Spirit empowers all believers for ministry in whatever area God needs them. In other words, we believe the Bible gives us clear understanding on how God’s Spirit empowers God’s people for various ministries to live righteously, to serve in new ways and with a new passion that honors God. That’s who we BMM are in Christ.
